Position Goal
Assist in the organization of the Human Resources functions for Hughston to include recruitment, onboarding, and orientation.
New Hires:
- Manage applicant tracking software to include filtering through applications, scheduling, and conducting initial HR screenings for Hughston applicants.
- Calculate offers for selected candidates for approval by HR Management.
- Manage on-boarding software to include sending new hire paperwork and reviewing forms submitted for errors and corrections.
- Sets up background, drug screening, and health assessments (as needed) for each new hire.
- Build new hire files and follows up on paperwork.
- Communicate with management regarding the new hire start date.
- Submit IT Ticket for new hires.
- Schedules start dates with new hires.
- Conduct Hughston Tours for all New Hires as assigned.
- Enter New Hires into the GA DOL database as assigned.
- Enter All New Hires into E-Verify within 3 days of start date or recertify rehires then files I-9 as assigned.
Annually:
- Assist in various HR Events as needed such as Benefits Fair, Hughston Day, Health Fair, etc.
Ongoing:
- Schedule and attend job fairs accordingly.
- Post and remove jobs on Applicant Tracking Software as well as associated job sites and DOL as needed.
- Manage job requisition folders by logging screenings and sending notifications to applicants not selected.
- Attend at least 1 training class per quarter (as available).
- Answer phone, email, and fax requests in a timely manner.
- Assist HR Management with ongoing projects or assignments as needed.
- Support HR policies and objectives for Hughston.
- Provide timely information to all levels of HR staff on issues as appropriate.
Experience:
Required:
- Six (6) months of Human Resources related experience.
Preferred:
- Two (2) years of medical office or Human Resources experience
One (1) year recruitment experience.
Education:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
Secondary Education such as associate’s degree or greater in relevant field.
Special Qualifications:
Required:
- Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) may be required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must have organizational and problem-solving ability.
- This position requires working under established deadlines and/or stressful situations.
- Must be able to always demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of HR regulations affecting work in this position EEO, DOL, and Wage/Hour.
